Covid-19 figures for Rugby

For the week up to 27th October 2021:

  • 536 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an decrease of 65 people (-10.8%) compared with the previous seven days.

  • 0 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. That’s one less than last week

  • At 26th October, a total of 82,508 people have had one vaccination dose and 75,925 have had both doses. That’s 78.3% and 72% of the population aged 12+, respectively.

  • The estimated R number for the Midlands as of 15th October is 0.9 to1.1.

Anyone aged 18 or over can now book a vaccine online. Anyone aged 16 or 17 can attend a vaccination walk-in centre without an appointment.

  • Spooky Proms Concert: Saturday 30th October, 7pm, Temple Speech Rooms, Rugby. The Jaguar Land Rover Band plays in this fundraising concert in aid of the Friends of St Cross and the Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club's charities. Read more.

  • Rugby Library Lego Club: Saturdays, 2pm. Suitable for children aged 4-11 years.
    All children to be accompanied by an adult. Book to attend.

  • Dunchurch car boot sale: Saturday 30th October, Alwyn Road (weather permitting) Gates open at 8am. Booters £7 a car, £10 car with trailer, £12 a van. Buyers’ entry fee 50p a person. Toilets and refreshments.

  • Sacred Heart Church, Bilton, 5pm mass: public worship and on YouTube. No booking necessary to attend the service, but please wear a face mask, wash your hands and observe social distancing. 

  • COP 26 Prayer Event at St Andrew’s Church, Rugby, 10am to 12 noon, organised by the Rugby Green Christian Group.

Sunday 24th October:

  • Sacred Heart Church, Bilton, 9.30am mass: public worship and on YouTube. No booking necessary to attend the service, but please wear a face mask, wash your hands and observe social distancing. 

  • St Mark’s Church, Bilton, 8am and 10am communion in St Mark’s and via Facebook/YouTube. Also 6pm, ‘In Loving Memory’ in St Mark’s and via Facebook/YouTube.

  • Dunchurch Baptist Church, 10.30am service at the Dunchurch Methodist Church, also livestreamed.

  • St Peter’s Church, Dunchurch, 10.30am.

  • Bilton Evangelical Church, 10am, in-person and online service
