WARWICKSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a reported stabbing in Rugby on Monday 9th May 2022.
At around 3.30pm, emergency services were called to Potsford Road, Cawston, following a report that a man in his 60s had been stabbed.
A man in his early 60s was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
There were no other reported injuries.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding and is currently in police custody.
Investigating officer, Det Con Beverley Ward from Warwickshire Police said on Monday: “An arrest has been made and a male remains in custody at this time.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident and enquiries are ongoing. A scene guard is currently in place while forensic examination takes place.
“If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 230 of 9th May 2022.”
