Free play sessions for the summer holidays
RBC Play Rangers will be visiting Cawston Grange Park and other green spaces around the borough to bring the summer of play to life.
Rugby Borough Council Play Rangers are holding free play sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the six week school holidays.
The sessions take place at:
Caldecott Park, Tuesdays 12.30pm-2pm
GEC Recreation Ground, Tuesdays 2.30pm-4pm
Hollowell Way, Brownsover, Wednesdays 12.30pm-2pm
Parkfield Rd, Newbold, Wednesdays 2.30pm-4pm
Cawston Grange Park, Thursdays 12.30pm-2pm
King George V Field, Long Lawford, Thursdays 2.30pm-4pm
Each week there’s a different theme, from extreme sports and mad science, to nature and water.
The sessions are designed for children aged 5 to 13. Rugby Borough Council says children under 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+.
There will be no regular session on Wednesday 4th August due to Playday Week. Instead there will be a day of activities at Whitehall Recreation Ground, next to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre.
Dates and times for all play sessions can be found online at www.rugby.gov.uk/summersport
