THE CONSERVATIVE party lost two seats to Labour in yesterday’s elections for Rugby Borough Council.

After the 14 seats (out of the total 42) up for grabs were decided, the makeup of RBC looks like this:

• Conservative: 23 (-2 compared with 2021)

• Labour: 10 (+2 compared with 2021)

• Liberal Democrats: 9 (no change compared with 2021)
