Application to remove section of hedgerows at Draycote Water

SEVERN Trent Water last week submitted an application to remove two sections of hedgerows at Draycote Water.
The company said the hedgerows need to be removed to make way for a proposed drawdown facility - that’s a way to lower the water level of the reservoir in the event of an emergency.
