Ben Slater runs Solstice Coffee Shop and Nurseries on the Coventry Road, just off the A45/M45 roundabout near Thurlaston.

The shop sells a selection of plants and compost, as well as real Christmas trees, wreaths, gifts, art, jams, chutneys and garden sculptures.

In the run-up to Christmas, every weekend he’ll be serving homemade vegetable soup with a chunk of crusty bread, as well as the usual cafe fare.
